Education: Mary studied design at Marymount University. After starting her family, she eventually decided to create Mary Amons Design in 2009. She continues to educate herself on the latest trends and technologies in the industry.

Ethos: Mary believes that our spaces should be tasteful reflections of our personalities. Perhaps most importantly, design should consistently evolve as we do.

Mary's passion is driven by creating functional and beautifully designed spaces primed for the effortless evolution of her clients. By prioritizing functionality and leaving runway for future adaptations, Mary’s designs seamlessly enhance the lives of her clients.

By taking ownership of the channels between her client and the architects and contractors, Mary can skillfully navigate smooth project management to allow her clients to focus on their regular daily activities, knowing that she is handling the complexities and intricacies involved in their projects.

Commercial: Mary has made significant contributions to a range of high-profile commercial projects including updating several embassies and restoring key common spaces in The Willard Hotel, a historic gem in Washington, DC.

Custom: When clients are looking to express themselves more uniquely, or simply cannot find what they are looking for in the marketplace, custom commissions are a fabulous option! Mary’s experience ranges from unique furnishings and artwork to custom cabinetry and wine cellars.
